Modes
There are three importants modes in vim which are
- Normal or Command mode
- Insert mode
- Line mode
- The normal mode is the default mode when you launch a vim at this point everrything is read only and you cant write or type
- The next mode the insert mode is activated with the
iin keyboard and then you are able to edit the file freely - The line mode helps you to sun vim commands e.g to save file. exit etc
